About the Coal India Limited EWS Scholarship 2023
The Coal India Limited EWS Scholarship 2023 is for students who are studying engineering or medical courses in college. The scholarship is given to students who are very good in their studies and come from families that have low income (BPL). The scholarship will pay for the entire cost of the course including tuition fees, hostel fees, mess charges and an extra fee of INR 10,000. The main goal of this scholarship is to help talented students who come from families with less money get a good education and achieve their career goals.
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
Be 25 years of age by November 1st of the current academic session.
Be studying full-time for a degree in Engineering in certain disciplines such as Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Computer IT, Environment, Electronics and Telecommunications or Medical courses.
Attend an institute that is recognized by the Central or State Government, such as IITs, NITs, or other approved Engineering and Medical colleges.
Belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
Have achieved a qualifying rank in the entrance examination.
