The Staff Selection Commission's CGL exam is one of the most popular. The SSC MTS exam is for Multi-Tasking Staff and is administered by the Staff Selection Commission. The Staff Selection Commission administers the SSC MTS exam. The SSC recruits for Multitasking Staff positions in the Central Government of India's numerous departments and offices.

SSC MTS Syllabus

There are two papers in the SSC MTS test. The objective type is Paper 1, while the descriptive type is Paper 2. English Language, General Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness are the four components of Paper 1. Only the English component of Paper 2 is required, and candidates must compose a letter, an essay, and a Precis. We have provided distinct syllabuses for both papers. SSC MTS Syllabus Paper I

The SSC MTS Paper 1 is divided into four sections: English Language, General Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Candidates can review the syllabuses for all topics listed below and prepare accordingly.

SSC MTS Syllabus Paper II

Paper-II will be given in Hindi, English, and other languages listed in Annexure-XIV to Schedule 8th of the Constitution. In paper II, applicants must write a short essay or letter in any of the languages listed in Schedule 8th. This test is used to assess basic language abilities that are relevant to the educational requirements for the position.

English Language Writing Ability - 

The English language writing skill component assesses a candidate's ability to write in Letter Writing, Essay Writing, and Precis Writing Format. - 

  • Letter Writing: A formal letter will be asked to write with appropriate formatting and details.

  • Essay Writing: Candidates are required to write a clear and concise essay. The thoughts in the essay should be represented coherently.

  • Precis writing: In precis writing, a passage is summarised in a comprehensive manner using minimum words that cover all the important aspects.
